Frank Reimer started River Trails in July of 2010 with two trucks. Sixteen years on, we still run forage south and freight north — same lanes, more decks.
For years, Frank operated trucks through other carriers and under our farm — Greenlea Forage — to deliver hay and straw on time and as promised. By 2010 it made sense to do it ourselves. We started with two trucks in July of that year.
Today we run a full open-deck mix out of southern Manitoba: tandem step decks, a low-profile tridem step deck, and an RGN double drop for tall and heavy freight. We continue to deliver forage products into the north-central U.S. and custom-haul freight back to Western Canada.
Our dispatch team has years of experience on both sides of the U.S./Canada border, and our drivers know deck work inside and out.

A small Manitoba outfit that answers its own phone. You'll talk to our dispatch team directly — no layers, no run-around.
Years running Western Canada ↔ U.S. Midwest lanes. We know the paperwork, the crossings, and how to keep freight moving.
Most of our hauls go to shippers we've worked with for years. They come back because we get loads where they need to be — without drama.
Our drivers have years of deck experience — tarping, securement, and oversize.
